Our first cycle tour together was to AfrikaBurn, 350 kms in 6 days, much of which was on dirt roads. We started out at the Waterfront in Cape Town and followed a route via Melkbosstrand, Riebeeck Kasteel and Ceres, into the Tankwa Karoo, a hot, dry and dusty moonscape. A slight detour took us to Jungala for the ultimate party experience. We are, after all, just kids at heart . . .
