Our mission is to raise awareness of the planetary consequences of our daily food choices and extend the spirit of Ubuntu to encompass all Earthlings.

Once upon a time, an anthropologist proposed a game to some African children.

He put a basket of sweet fruit near a tree. Then he told them that whoever reached the tree first would win all the fruit in the basket. When he gave them the signal to start running,  they did something really surprising: they all held hands and ran together. Then they sat in a circle and shared the fruit amongst themselves.

When he asked them why they chose to run as a group, when they could have had more fruit individually, one child said:

"Ubuntu. How can one be happy if all the others are sad ?"

UBUNTU in the Xhosa language means: "I am because we are"
